Temporary Assistance to Needy Families - Unemployed Parent Program (TANF-UP) is intended to provide assistance to families with two able-bodied parents. |

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance ProgramFormerly known as Food Stamps, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is a federal program that supplements the food budgets of low-income households to help assure needy persons a nutritionally adequate diet. Financial need, household size, and nonfinancial criteria such as student status are used to determine eligibility. Each eligible household will be issued an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card which is similar to a debit card that may be used to purchase eligible food items from the account. |
