Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail - The Crooked Road
If you enjoy music, you will certainly enjoy Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail - The Crooked Road. The Crooked Road is a driving route through the Appalachian Mountains from the western slopes of the Blue Ridge to the Coalfields region of the state connecting major heritage music venues in our region.

Spearhead Trail System
Spearhead Trail Sytem logoIf your interest is adventure tourism, you may want to learn more about a new initiative in Southwest Virginia called the Spearhead Trail System. The project was an initiative of the counties of Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Tazewell, and Wise as well as the City of Norton, and coordinated under the guidance of the Southwest Regional Recreation Authority (SRRA). Trails will include ATV, horse, pedestrian, and bicycle.
