Norton's annual Holiday Storefront Decoration Contest will be held Nov. 1-29. This year's theme is "Christmas in Candy Land". The registration deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 29. Prizes will include $500 for First Place; $300 for Second Place; $200 for Third Place; and $100 for a Community Choice Award. Judging will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1. Business owners are invited to stay open that evening to provide a description of their displays to the community who will be viewing the storefronts and casting their Community Choice Award votes. The contest is free to enter. Award winners will be announced during Norton's Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2.
