Norton Electoral Board Meeting Notice

The City of Norton Electoral Board will meet at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9. The purpose of this meeting is to consider provisional ballots cast at the Nov. 8, 2022 General and Special Election and to canvass the results of the election. The board will also meet at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14, to conclude the canvass. The meetings will be held at the Norton Community Center, 201 Park Ave. NE, Norton, VA. Questions? Voter Notice Statement

The Virginia Department of Elections has identified that there is an issue with voter notices sent to some voters in Southwest Virginia. Voters with a P.O. Box might have received a voter notice with incorrect voting location information. The Department of Elections will mail corrected notices to all effected voters. Any voters can check their voting information on the Department of Elections' website at www.elections.virginia.gov or by calling (804) 864-8901 and dialing 0 for the operator.
